MIT’s pupil Margarita Morata is the first 16 years old athlete in the history of karate to represent Spain at the senior level. And the selectors have made a good job, as in the European Championship of Karate Senior (absolute), she has won no less than the silver medal! The school is very proud of her and congratulates her for her sacrifice and very hard work.
Margarita Morata, former MIT School student, was honored yesterday at the Palacio de Congresos de Jaén with the Best Athlete with Promise of Andalucía 2013 award. Her eight Spanish Champion titles, her five European Champion titles and her two third places in the #world competitions of Karate make her, at her 19 years old, worthy of this important distinction.
